Tides Between Worlds
Artist Name: By Alexandra Maul
Exhibitions Date: 24th - 25th April 2026
Location: Kep West Wellness Center
Tides Between Worlds, Alexandra Maul captures the shifting essence of Kep—where sea, jungle, and countryside dissolve into one another, just as identities do. Her works move through fragments of coastline, the dense breath of forest, flashes of crabs and fish, and the quiet rhythm of the beach—not as literal landscapes, but as emotional terrains.
Living between cultures, Maul approaches Kep not as a fixed place, but as a state of transition. The sea becomes a metaphor for movement and impermanence, the jungle a space of immersion and disorientation, the countryside a quiet anchor that is never entirely still. In her expressive, contemporary language, these elements are layered with gesture, color, and text—capturing moments that feel both intimate and distant.
